Let Me Breathe

Took a year off to understand my personal needs. Took time to learn to breathe without the thought of you and me. Allowed myself to experience what I was feeling. That was- alone, scared, depressed, and sad. But I’m healing. Allowed my heart to beat violently and viciously. Developed an irregular heartbeat. Allowed myself to succumb from the injuries of love, broken promises, heartbreaks and pain. Took time out again to figure out what was going on in my brain. Like the wild beast itself. I completely destroyed myself and rose from the ashes. I had to forgive myself for all of my transgressions. I traveled the world, invest time in me. I've decided it was time for me to breathe. Understanding that trauma has no age limit, I took time to cleanse my spirit when I expressed my tiredness and weakness, I weeped for weeks and weeks and weeks.
